Whoops, ‘Skins’ May Violate Child Porn Laws

You know, there are some cool laws to break. Not that I’m advocating breaking any, but when someone tells you they went to jail for stealing their boss’ car and then setting it on fire in the middle of the highway, that’s pretty bad-ass. Producing child pornography is not one of those cool laws to break. Such is the dilemma facing MTV’s racy new imported show Skins. In the series' third episode, a male character’s butt is shown as he runs down the street. It just so happens that the actor, Jesse Carere, is 17, despite the fact that he and the other actors in the show (ranging in ages from 15 to 19) and their characters engage in sex and drug use.
