Hope and the reset button - Trinidad & Tobago Express

Year's end caught me searching for hope, asking everyone around where they saw a bright spot. It came strangely from Attorney-General Anand Ramlogan as he sought to assure that the imbroglio between Works Minister Jack Warner and CAL Chairman George Nicholas had ended, and they both had agreed "to press the reset button" in their relationship.
On New Year's Eve, Mr Ramlogan, more than anyone else, provided me with hope, just when I needed it: hope that the nation could press the reset button. Difficult as it may be, first to find that button, and even when it is pressed there is no guarantee that it would bring us any seemingly desired results, or become a self-asserting force, or just another item on
