Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ To Be Turned Into A Movie

Zombies + Dancing + Michael Jackson = $$$You know what, this actually makes sense, kind of. Turning Thriller into a feature length movie is one of the smarter objects we have seen movie makers turn to for inspiration. It’s entirely possible to look at the full music video for Thriller as a short film that just happened to have a random dance break in the middle. It has a coherent story that can be expanded on and it already has a huge fan base. There have been dumber things optioned as movies (gum wrappers, kids games, and these books), so I’m not that worried about this film. Kenny Ortega is slated to direct. Ortega happens to have a history of working on Jackson’s material, he directed last year’s This Is It. Writing the film
