Dreamworks Animation Takes On Sid & Marty Krofft's Lidsville

Dreamworks Animation announced it will bring the 1970s television series Lidsville, featuring the Sid & Marty Krofft characters. The Krofft brothers will serve as executive producers of the remake. "Sid and I have had a longstanding relationship with Jeffrey Katzenberg and we're excited to bring 'Lidsville' to DreamWorks Animation," said Marty Krofft. "It's incredible to envision a high-quality 3D animated movie being made out of one of our favorite shows." The movie remake will be inspired by the original premise of the television series where a young rebellious kid falls into an alternate reality world of talking hats. The L.A public TV station KCET & Family Channel will feature the original Lidsville television series in a new show
