'Zombieland' Writers Head Behind Camera To Whack A Granny

I would like to make some overarching generalization about writers in Hollywood who become directors and call themselves story tellers. But for every writer turned director (Frank Darabont), to director with a natural flair for writing (Jon Favreau) to those writers so weird they could only direct themselves (Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith) there is always a bad apple in the bunch to ruin it for them (M. Night Shyamalan). But I have a feeling that the men behind the script for Zombieland, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, will be able to handle the camera well and turn Doc and Howie into a very good comedy about, what else, death and sex.
