Henry salutes 'navigator' Carter

New Zealand coach Graham Henry praised "navigator" Dan Carter after the All Black fly-half became international rugby union's leading all-time points scorer during a 37-25 win over Wales at the Millennium Stadium here on Saturday.

Carter's eighth minute penalty gave him the three points he needed to surpass Jonny Wilkinson's previous world record of 1,178 points for England and the British and Irish Lions.

Although he didn't have his best day with the boot, missing four out of five first-half goalkicks, Carter finished the match with a return of 12 points (three conversions and two penalties) for a career haul of 1,188
