"Harry Potter" Scores $125 Million Opening Weekend

Easily beating out the competition, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I" claimed the top spot at the box office over the weekend of November 19-21st.
Not disappointing studio execs, the Daniel Radcliffe/Emma Watson flick is estimated to have earned $125.1 million in total.
The wizard-based movie toppled last week's winner, "Megamind," which had a weekend pull of $16.1 million while "Unstoppable" grabbed up third place at $13.1 million.
Rounding out the top five are the Robert Downey Jr. comedy "Due Date" ($9.1 million) and "The Next Three Days" in fifth with estimated earnings of $6.7
