An epic top-order fail by the bizhub Highveld Lions saw them succumb to a 96-run defeat at the hands of the Nashua Titans in their MTN40 crosspool match at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Friday.

Chasing 311 for victory, the Lions crashed to an ignominious 10 for six before Zander de Bruyn's superb unbeaten century and support from Werner Coetsee saw them post a respectable 214 all out, although they are in danger of surrendering top spot in their pool after the league phase of the competition.
The Lions top-order never got into gear against the excellent new-ball bowling of Ethy Mbhalati and Albie
