Stolen jacket sparked Patrick's drug and booze bender

The 57 year old, who played Eddie Munster on the hit 1960s TV series, has long battled problems with cocaine, marijuana and alcohol, but he hit rock bottom earlier this month (Nov10) after hearing about the crime.

And it took a tough talking to from his agent Jodi Ritzen to convince him to seek help for his addictions.

Ritzen tells the National Enquirer, "The jacket had been stolen, and when Butch found out that it was being auctioned on the internet, he went over the edge.

"Butch was drinking heavily and doing huge amounts of cocaine and pot for four days straight without eating or sleeping.

"I told him that he needed to get clean or he'd kill himself. I said, 'I am not going to bury Eddie Munster!'"
